Are you really that surprised? Megabusiness interests of all kinds are very politically correct at times. Look at how many of them throw money at Jesse Jackson.

Gun shops needn't feel singled out. Damned banks have more ways to say "No" than a hot, socially adept, virgin in her fourth year at UT. Unwillingness to lend is really hampering our economy as banks sit on trillions in availabe capital.

A smart man would wager that this is a PR stunt that will be rolled back quite quickly very very soon.

all I can think of is the scene in Boogey Nights where the banker can't loan Buck the money and says he is in the porn industry and Buck just keeps saying don't say that.

If it is a good business they won't have problems finding financing somewhere else.
