The Big Ten v. Pac Ten thing will work itself out during the season:

Michigan State @ Cal - 8/30
State Penn vs. Oregon State - 9/6
Ohio State @ USC - 9/13
Purdue vs. Oregon - 9/13

SI rated the conferences for the two five-years periods of the BCS decade. The first five years, Big Ten #1. Second five years, SEC #1. According to SI the Big Ten is rated above the Big 12 for the entire period.
