We were there. Sat with a Foundation employee and he said there were 450-500 people in attendance. All the major coaches were there; Brown, Harsin, Diaz, Applewhite, Searles, Akina, etc. Mack was the only one who spoke and he talked briefly about how the wheels came off last year and more about how excited everyone was to get back to work in a few weeks. He emphasized that the players had been working hard in the weight room and had asked for it to be open an additional day (Saturday) each week so they could get in extra work.
Bryan Harsin sat at our table for quite some time and I am in no position to judge what he does with Xs and Os but what an impressive young man. He obviously is very excited about being the Co OC at Texas. Manny Diaz in person is intense. In my very amateur non professional opinion I think we are in good hands. 40 days, 5 hours.
