My son reads water meters for the city of Arlington.

Good ones ... anywhere on the southside toward Mansfield, nice apts. on Sublet Rd., anywhere on North or South Green Oaks Blvd, and north on Collins (FM 157).

He says stay away from east or north-central Arlington (Division/Abrams area south of I-30)

Depends on wher eyou want to be.. that is a VERY large area. I am from Arlington and worked in Ft. Worth, so give some more specifics on area. Areas North and East of the aforementioned area are good. Up on NE Green Oaks for instance.
Also, There are a couple of places in Ft. Worth that are good. West of Downtown between downtown and the arts district on 7th... there are some great one there. Also in the Cityview area in SW Ft. Worth... but they are all far from each other, so more specific information would be cool.
