Former UT Recruit Named Starter

Pretty amazing that Mississippi, Tulsa and North Texas will all be getting by with former UT commits as their starting QBs.
 
Best of luck to the guy. I can't fault a guy for transferring due to lack of playing time. Best wishes to his college career.
 
His Dad just got the job here in Sherman. He also got Calisburg's (coached by none other than Rhett Bomar's Dad, Jerry) QB to tranfer in.
 
If I remember correctly, he had nothing but good things to say about Texas and handled himself with a lot of maturity when he announced his transfer. Good luck to him. I'll pull for him just like I do Jevan and Riley.

He continued to do well. A couple of times they mentioned Snead at Ole Miss and Kinne as Texas transfers and another one doing well, better than watching Colt from the sidelines. They managed to compliment the kids that did transfer, the Texas program AND Colt all at once. Bravo. Too bad nobody is probably watching this game.
 
I watched the game and was impressed by Kinne's skills. I had forgotten that he had transferred to Tulsa. It sure looks like a good fit for him.

Ditto on his class comments when he left and Mack was very complementary of him too when he left, he knew he was never going to see field at Texas and so he moved on, cant argue with that and the fact he did it with class speaks well of him. Good luck at Tulsa.
