Not hot off the presses but I did not see any posts on this subject.

Michael Williams has decided to run for the House Seat in Arlington, 33 I think instead of the US Senate.

Sad day for Conservatives. I would have loved to have seen Michael Williams in the US Senate, especially on the Energy Committee's.

Dewhurst, Abbott and or Leppert do not do anything for me.

Any idea who the Democrats are going to send to the slaughter? I think Ron Kirk or John Wiley Price would make great choices!!!

Yep, sad turn of events for Texas. Once Leppert and Doworst got involved, Williams saw the writing on the wall.

It wasn't a sure thing, but if Kay had kept her word, he might have been appointed by Slick Rick and been far enough ahead to dissuade these guys from running. Now, we'll have another do nothing Senator from TX.
