for I have sinned. When we fell behind six runs i cussed and switched channels. Only to flip back to see we had tied things up. Ill never count this bunch out again.

I, too, changed when we were getting hammered....I needed to collect my thoughts. I turned back just in time to see Rupp blast the homer. Baseball is very, very frustrating to watch when you are behind and pitching...Because nothing good can happen.

I will confess to ranting nonsensically about it being all over until next year, but I didn't change the channel, and I did invent the bowl of cherries rally. Now life is a bowl of cherries.

I admit to having had plenty of beer by that time and I did NOT change the channel.

However, Katy left the stands when it was 4-0 saying "I can do us more good outside." To her credit, she was right. Ofc ourse, I texted her after the come back: "Have fun spending the rest of the CWS outside of Rosenblatt.

Hey, you don't f with what's working!!!!

i know better than to switch the channel, but i'll still piss and gripe when we're losing. i've witnessed too many amazing comebacks to ever really think we're out of it.

i couldn't leave any of those black saturdays.... even in the fourth quarter. i figured i'd gone that far, might as well soak it in.

I really believe it was my friend in west Texas who turned his underwear inside out that got the rally going. Don't Go Changin'.

We have a newborn boy who, upon recognizing that we were six runs down, proceeded to have a blowout diaper and then peed all over the floor (in essence he needed to have a s**t about it and was pissed); on his return to the game, in his new longhorn onesie, all was settling down.

The rest obviously is history.

I didn't change the channel but disgruntledly turned the sound down and started reading junk on the internet. By the end of the 5th I had the sound cranked back up and enjoying the game again.

Thank you, LHG. Your sacrifice is deeply appreciated.

We didn't change channels, either, BTW. Squirmed, mumbled Druid curses, nursed a growing headache and sweated, but didn't change the damn channel.

Qui vincet audet. Mors ab alto.

Beat the HELL outta whoever shows up Friday.

Sadly, I switched when we were down 4-0. I switched back to find us at 6-3 and left it on from there.

I had to miss the first four innings because I teach an aerobics class on Tuesday evenings. As soon as my class was over, I called my friend and said, "Do I even want to know?" She informed me that we had been down 0-6, but had come back to tie it. So I sprinted to the cardio room on tbe other side of the facility and watched the 5th inning there, then made it home for the second out of the top of six (I live ridiculously close to my gym).

I don't know what I would have done had I been able to see the game from the start. I've been a part of some amazing comebacks (Miami '91 comes to mind). I wonder if I would have changed the channel, changed my underwear, changed positions on the couch, or what.

It DOES feel good to be in the driver's seat, though, doesn't it, boys?

The child should get a free 4 yrs at the forty acres..

Sex. Grand slam against Army is all on me folks.

Also too, during the game vs. BC, I had fallen down and really hurt myself outside of a CK's in Memphis right before Tucker scored. THat might have been on me too. Steak and eggs at CK"s after winning a marathon epic rad game + drunken self injury = totally.

"took a walk up Lamar. I was a block away from Shoal Creek Salon and hard a roar go up from their patio. I checked my iPhone and saw we had just cut the lead to 3. I continued walking north up Lamar not wanting to block the flow and as I got to Whole Foods I heard the game tying run come in"

Sorry to be a pain in the ***, but Whole Foods is south of the Tavern and Shoal Creek Saloon.
Tavern - @ 12th St.
Shoal Creek - @ 10th St.
Whole Foods - @ 5th St.

I just kicked the dog and tossed the cat out the back door. Come back complete.
