Forde hates Texas

There is no other explanation. He is constantly dogging Colt and our football team and now in the first ESPN Power rankings for basketball he is the only one of the 10 that ranked us worse than 4th. He put us 7th. I know I know, its basketball and rankings don't matter but Mack and Barnes must have given him the daily dip in the toilet during his school days or something.

1) He said he voted for Colt for the Heisman last year.
2) He's got them as a two-seed. Hardly a diss. Gary Parrish has Texas as a two-seed in his preseason bracket and picked them to win the whole thing.

I always felt Forde was a bit rough on us in the past. however, he's actually been pretty complimentary of our fb squad recently.

who cares if he has us ranked at #7 in a preseason poll? personally, I think we're better than that...but what exactly has this team proven at this point?

Barnes is an incredible coach. The only one who could have done better at Texas is Calipari and that is only because he cheats.

1 Final Four at Duke might not be impressive, but what many pundits forget is that all that "NBA" talent wasn't collectively playing at the same time at Texas and that it left after 1 or 2 seasons.

It would be fair to Pat to point out that "all that NBA talent" rarely played together, or much beyond a sophomore year. But it probably would be a waste of time.

FFs are exceptionally difficult, and promised to no one. But they have a good shot this year.
