Ford Bronco rear window

I am thinking about buying a 1988 Bronco and the rear glass does not go down. I think this is a fairly common problem w/ Broncos. Has anyone had any luck fixing this problem? Can I replace the window motor? Is it usually an electrical issue?

I have a '92, and it has never been a probem.

Well, except after a costco run, and the load shifted against the tailgate, forcing it "open" a bit, and the window wouldn't budge. When I leaned into the gate, it went down fine.

So, I would check the switch on the gate before replacing the motor.
