In your opinion what was the best defense that horns faced over the last four years?

OU may not be great, but their defense always shows up in Dallas

We have not faced a DC as good as Aranda in well over a decade, maybe two. In fact, I'd say you have to go back to Rick Lantz in 1996 (???)

Rick Lantz never coached in the Big XII.

As I have said many times, the best DCs in my lifetime were Leon Fuller, Rick Lantz, Bill Bradley, with special mention to Dick Tomey as HC and defensive wizard. Rick is the only one of those we faced and he destroyed Rickey and our offense.

Can't really think of any in the last 4, but I remember the Nebraska D in the 2009 Conference Championship Game was the best in the last 10 years. Suh was a beast. However, Colt survived and we got the W.

Pretty sure this goes both ways as Herman also knows Aranda like the back of his hand. A lot easier to beat a defense when you know they know you and you know they know you know.
