Now and in the future, the University's decision when presented with a choice between pushing for a Longhorn football game to be made available to the LHN or leaving it to be shown on a higher tier network will be very indicative of their commitment to the LHN arrangement. If they want LHN to succeed, they'll push for every game to be shown on it. If they're worried about the lack of exposure hurting the program, they'll give LHN no more that the minimum number of games required by the contract (whatever that is), and maybe try to bargain for even less. In my opinion, the University is not ready to abandon the contract, nor does it want to anger the fan base by pushing games onto the LHN where no one can view them, so I predict that the University will secretly arrange for ESPN and the other networks to not pick certain Longhorn games for higher tier telecasts, thereby leaving the LHN as the only option. I dare them to prove me wrong.
