Hey Pike. Omaha's a 4-season city with a LOT to enjoy. But ya better have a really warm coat. It's ZERO degress here right now but at least yesterday's 49 MPH wind and white-out have stopped. Snow plows have already been by this morning so we shouldn't have any trouble getting around.
I probably SHOULD have brought the bier in from the garage last night so it wouldn't freeze.
Oh, there are whiney Husker fans here, too. Latest is whining about a line official's call that doomed the Husker volleyball season in the Seattle last Fri. Close to Wisconsin so there's plenty cheese to go w the whine.
Just sayin the place isn't like June all year but you're living in Austin so this won't be a problem.
i have noticed while driving there in the past the snow evacuation route signs. I didnt figure those were there for decoration. beatiful place cool people good employers but climate is too harsh for me!
Hey Neb LH Alumni Band Guy,
You can just kiss off any job prospects with the Omaha Chamber of Commerce. Yep, you've burned that bridge. I really see no future for you in Neb. Why don'tcha move on down Texas way?
