FNL 1/11

I thought that was him. The thing is, I don't recall ever hearing him speak. I live in Knoxville so I don't get to hear press conferences or local newscasts. Anyway, I thought it was kind of weird that he would play that roll seeing as how he recruits himself.
The crazy redneck is going to get Riggins...

That was cool. Good job Rick!! FNL is a great show.

Great show. Augie definitively needs to get a role on the show. My husband thinks Augie and Mike Leach could team recruit together.

Great episode, but I would have liked seeing the referee awarding the TD to Dillon after Larrabee's psycho-coach went Tommy Lewis (1954 Cotton Bowl/Dickie Maegle reference) on Riggins. I'm guessing it was implied that Dillon won the game based on what happened on the final play.

Shamewood, can we get a ruling here?

(I hope my FNL bit role next week didn't wind up on the cutting room floor..)

This was the first time I saw this show, I had a girl over in the apartment and she wanted to watch it.

All I have to say is that the coach's daughter and sister in law

Also, the coach's baby is FUGLY!!! Could they not get a better looking baby? Jesus Christ!

As mentioned earlier, they need cameos for Augie but also Leach, who could be a recruiter for the [fake school name] Pirates.

Given that a typical HS player has two, maybe three years on varsity, why are they not working new characters into the show? Or is Sarascen still the QB in Season 5 (if it gets there)? Any of you insiders?

in one of the earlier episodes this season smash mentioned that saracen was a junior and that next year would be "his year."

I liked how the Oklahoma Tech coach was the cheatin' bastard offering houses, jobs, etc. to Smash's mom. Perfect.

Actually, I think the letter "M" no longer has any explicit meaning but is retained as a link to the university's past.

The football footage in this episode was the best I have ever seen in any movie or television show ever. Well done.
Very good episode too.

Things I love about the show are the characters and the dialogue.

Coach to Julie, "Damn Julie". Awesome.

When Mrs. Coach comes in and says, "You kicked my sister out". He says "Not quite what happened" then you see him just take because he knows nothing he says now matters.

I love those times.

The one thing that drives me bonkers like everyone else, is that every game comes down to the last play. Every one.

So how far into the episode is coach Barnes? I've never seen the show, so it's kindof interminable waiting for him to show up.

Shame, when do eps 214 and 215 air? I wish I knew if the football shot in 214 is the one with me in it or not.
