Expert: Autopsy of Florida A&M... (CNN)"A final autopsy report released Wednesday shows that Florida A&M University drum major Robert Champion Jr. suffered muscle damage commonly seen in such events as car accidents, prolonged seizures, child abuse and torture, an expert said."
Any attorneys on the board know if such a beating can incur involuntary manslaughter charges? The beating acts were voluntary, inlcuding the victum who allowed himself to be hazed... yet he was more or less forced into it under peer pressure. Imagine a parent of a young man at a college, and that child is beaten to death to the extent his tissues were as damaged as they would have been under severe torture. To think your child died like that.
