Flip Happy Crepes

Saw them on the Bobby Flay Throwdown show on the Food Network and am wondering if anyone here has been. The reason I was watching was because my dad told me that one of the owners was my cousin's (distant) fiancee. I may check them out the next time in Austin, if people think they are good. Let me know...

They beat Bobby Flay FWIW.

What's a distant fiancee?

I've never been. I didn't even know they were still open, since I guess they've moved from their former parking lot further south on lamar.

I saw the same show and wondered the same thing. My friend that lives dow there eats at all of the new places and is a big supporter of local business. Her opinion was that it takes a long time and was not very good. But she told me to try it anyway in case she caught them on a bad day.

I eat there all the time but it is slow. They make each crepe to order and I think they've only got two crepe makers so it can take awhile if a bunch of people ordered before you.

That being said, I really like it. I've never had the cuban crepe that was featured on the show but I've had most of their savory crepes and never had a bad experience there.

It's a totally Keep Austin Weird-type business only open for lunch from Wednesday to Sunday and Dinner on Saturday only.
