Flat Panel Monitors

My old monitor is about to give out and I'd like to upgrade to a flat panel. Any thoughts on where to buy, what brands, etc.?

I've used a number of them, and aside from going super high end, no discernable difference. However, if you want a 19", pay the extra $$ and get the 20" that allows you to bumped to 1600x1200 resolution.

Is 1600x1200 the native resolution for a 20" monitor?
