Flash Gordon Question

Everyone who isn't a total douchebag knows Flash Gordon was the QB of the NY Jets. That said, the Jets went 4-12 in 1980 so the ********* in the movie should have known that this wasn't going to have the "wow" factor that director type morons are looking for. Not only that, it would seem that Dale Arden could have done better than to fall for a QB who is about to be out of the league soon.

I know Flash was sweet in that one scene where he drills all those shitbag droids but he started locking in on certain dudes, didn't have a motor that doesn't quit and certainly can't be confused for a workout warrior.

Once they got to planet Mong you would think Dale would have been all over some of those dudes who could make her rich, give her that potion that makes her dance all crazy.

Great movie and the soundtrack rocks but there are some serious disappointments.

I always chalked Flash's running out of breath so easily up to a thinner atmosphere on Mongo.
