Fitzhenry = Ramonce Welker?

I'm not an expert on incoming talent, but the Super Bowl got me to thinking about Fitzhenry. Small, quick, tough enough to run the ball a lot in high school.

It was Welker, of course, that brought him to mind. I throw in Ramonce because he was the Texas version of Welker but faster.

Just saying. There are some guys to watch in this new class. Team that with Mack's new approaches and the future looks pretty dang bright.

I saw Fitzhenry personally just obliterate a pretty good Wimberley team. He was the best player that I saw this past season.

And I have a feeling that this weekend is going to be very fruitful, indeed. The assembly of talent is going to be monstrous.

Exactly what I said in the contributions thread.

If they put him at WR (smart thing to do), he can be a monster in the slot. Quick, shifty, great blance and vision and has the top end speed.

All depends on what they decide to do offensively. Fitzhenry isn't the only kid the fits this mold. I really don't understand recruiting the number of wide receivers and then the number of running backs.

Throw in an athlete like Chiles to go with Ramonce Welker and the O could do some studly things if we can be creative enough to exploit it.

I had the opportunity to be on the field and see both Brock & DeSean Hales... both are athletes, great competitors, both take hits and come up 'talking' & like the ball in their hands to make plays but have a different styles...

Brock is a Welker type with very quick feet and really good moves. Since he played QB, I'm sure he has hands but didn't see him catch the ball, only hand-off & pitch in the option offense!

Hales has good hands, great moves and is shifty & fast like a Pittman! Klein Oak put him in multiple positions to get the ball in his hands along with receiving kick-offs & punts. Hope that helps...
