With lent here I'll be eating a lot more fish and shrimp. I'll probably just bake 'em in the oven. What kind of marinades/seasoning are good for shrimp or fish. Something simple
Trappy's jalepeno sauce and chopped fresh dill is one of my favorites. I learned this down in the valley awhile back. If you want to fry the fish or shrimp, add those ingredients to an egg wash.
i usually fry my fish and only grill them on occasion, but when i do i just cook it with melted butter mixed with any spices that are good to you. throw in some worchestershire suace for some added flavor. i am looking forward to spring break when i can go home and do some fishing... it has been too long since i had some good fried redfish. for frying i just soak the filets in milk, and mix some flour, cornmeal, and just about every spice in my cabinet for the coating. nothing beats fresh fried fish.
