Update 8:15 a.m. — Linebacker Steve Edmond of Daingerfield and offensive lineman Marcus Hutchins of DeSoto have signed. Edmond is the top-ranked 2011 recruit in Texas on Hookem.com’s list of top 100 players in the state.

(Just a reminder that DB Quandre Diggs, QB David Ash, LB Chet Moss and TE M.J. McFarland were mid-term enrollees and already are on campus.)

Agree with this class. Definitely going to be a great one. Will be interesting to see how many offers go out during the first Jr day. Better yet, i'm wondering who would be the first to sign. If Conner Brewer were to get an offer before the first Jr day, then my money is on him but he's not set to be in until the 2nd Jr day.

Clean - you're right about Rasco. Seems to be a long shot but stranger things have happened. I believe it was 98 that Andre Gurode chose Colorado over Texas because mom thought Austin was too "liberal". Rasco's mom loves Texas, so as long as a parent has input, anything is possible.

Great haul. Class 2011 is in the books. Only one decommit after this dismal 5-7 season. Mack has proven he is still Daddy in the HC realm.
Now then, what major drama has occurred elsewhere? How have our "rivals" (e.g. GoonerU, Agroid, Sand Agroid, Okie Aggy, etc.) and just for shits and giggles... how is the Husker class shaping up for old hemorrhoid face?

I know this will be kinda debbydowner, but **** if it aint hard watching these recruits talk when they announce. It's like listening to someone scratching a blackboard. How does a teacher allow a kid to go through class with such ****** speaking skills is beyond me. When I was in school, my teachers made a kid like that talk and talk and talk so they could get better at it. Nothing new I know, but i have to mute the damn tv.

LA, did you see Kindle talk at pre championship game press conferences? ..... Even after being at UT for 3 years the kid didnt know how to complete a simple sentence. But hey, he was a mutha on the field.

Anyone catch what that said Shipley was soing suring the spring? He ia already graduated but is living with Jordan to work out with him and go through the NFL type off-season stuff. I assume he will move down to Austin in June. A little different approach that enrolling in college early.

yeah 2003 it doesnt get better necessarily when in college cuz by then its too ingrained and a prof certainly isnt going to try to change them.
