First Ho!

Think what you will of Dobson, but he's got a point. He was banging Callista while he was married to his second wife (whom he was previously screwing around with on his first wife) for quite a while. I know he was "doing it for the love of his country," but that's really beside the point.

It is interesting to me how liberals are so interested in this meeting of evangelical "leaders".

I don't know of any conservatives that give a flip.

I don't know of any conservatives that give a flip.

Well, the people at the meeting are conservative, and they give more than a flip.

Also, that toxic brew of evangelicos have been pulling the Con strings for quite a while now and many Cons have been dancing to their tune. Those Cons give mroe than a flip.

But it is good news that some Cons are trying to distance themselves from that group. It's a bit dishonest to now claim they "don't know of ANY conservatives" who care about the role of the evangelical right-wing in Republican politics, but at least this is a start back to normalcy. It's been long overdue.

Sorry. I should have said that I don't know any conservatives that give a flip. On the other hand, liberals seem all worked up about this meeting. Go figure.

Et UT, Judas?

edit: some kind of chicken**** editing censor function is making "stup" ( take the letters between "s" and "p") appear as "UT".

The comments in the linked article are pretty good.

Here's one that basically says you're anti-God if you don't support adulterers.

Based on that logic you must not trust a single word King David wrote in the Bible. Furthermore, you must really not trust God since he deemed David fit to remain in office even after his adultery.

So I guess that writer was all in support of WJC during his troubles?

Here's one that's chock full of truthiness:

Newt was screwing around with Callista while he was married to his second wife (the one he left his FIRST wife for, while she was undergoing treatment for cancer) and at the same time, trying to crucify President Clinton for his affair with Monica Lewinsky. In the dictionary, under the words HYPOCRITE, CHEAT....

WTF does any of that have to do with the fact that we have a 1.5 trillion dollar deficit year on year, and an moron in the WH currently whose solution is spend more? Yeah. I am really worried about how many skanks the newt is banging. if you didn't care about this **** when clinton was doing it, you probably need to stfu about it now.

Apparently the Newtster blew up a little last night when questioned about the open marriage thing. He strikes me as a man of strong intellect with an unsettling volatility of temperament—the kind of guy I might want on my team but not leading it.

Clinton was sleazy and embarrassing. Newt is cut from the same cloth.

Policy preferences aside, it has been refreshing to have had two consecutive presidents who have carried themselves with dignity with respect to their families.

I am much more worried about the current potus palling around with known terrorists, attending hate churches, and employing avowed communists in his administration than i am who newt bangs, romneys tax rate, or his sacred underwear, but that's just me. One mans associations and choices are dangerous to the principles of the country. the other really is not. i care more that obama has continued the bush doctrine with regard to spending i.e. he obviously thought bush didn't spend enough. meanwhile we have newt who is the only person in this race with a proven track record of attempting to control spending, and limit growth of government. those are far more important issues with actual tanglible results that impact us positively or negatively. you either get that, or you worry about **** that doesn't matter. 1.5 trillion dollar deficits matter. Obama has no clue that they are even a problem.

Sometimes, when I hear the tender and moving strains of the Star Spangled Banner, I feel so patriotic that I just want to go bang some hot patootie. Who among us hasn’t experienced these amorous stirrings of American pride?
