firefox help appreciated.

Ok...for no apparent reason firefox prompted me for the first time to name a profile when I clicked on it. It has never done this before. Well, I named a profile, and bam it opens the page. Now I am on this new profile with all of my favorites gone. Does anyone know how to change profiles. Dammit.

Yeah...it worked like a charm. What a random wierd thing to happen....and way too involved for a computer retard like myself.

That's happened to me a couple of times before. Very annoying. Not sure how I figured out what had happened or how I fixed it, but once I did, I deleted any other profiles I may have created without really realizing what I was doing.

Haven't had it happen in a while.

This happened to me before, I went into my appilication data under my user name and went into firefox, found a folder with profiles and deleted the new one I made.

It's much easier to deal with.

When that popup comes up asking for for a new profile. Close it. Hit Ctrl+Alt+Del. End the old Firefox process. Open Firefox again. Should be fine. Happens every so often.
