Firefly: One great show that didn't make it

Firefly is in my top 3 all-time great sci-fi shows, but it didn't make it past the first season.

Great site from some good shows past and present. A bit glitchy when the InterTubes are busy though.

I was glad they did a movie and tied up the lose ends from the show. Good stuff.

Firefly is great. Along with The Wire and Sopranos are my all time top 3 tv series. I just bought the series and movie and introduced it to my wife and she loved it as well.

Looks like River is now on the Sarah Conner Chronicles.

I caught Serenity on HBO a few months ago, which led me to go back and rent the series on Netflix. An interesting blend of sci-fi and Western themes. And they did a good job with the special effects (I particularly liked that there were no sound effects in space. Finally, someone gets it right). Definitely good stuff.
