Anyone been there. Theres a location in South Austin, one in the Arboretum, and one in Round Rock. I think I'm going to hit it up tonight, anything in particular I should try?

It's good. You know it's not a "sit down" restaurant though, right?
The way it's set up is you choose the noodles, the protein, and the sauce. So, I'll do udon, with beef/chkn, Kung poa sauce.

It's decent.

fire bowl is pretty good. you get a lot of food.

there is a pei wei in austin & for some reason i think its where the old lone star cafe was on south lamar but i'm not 100% sure of that location.

There's a Pei Wei in the Hancock shopping center on 35.

I went last night, enjoyed it except for the overpriced beer ($3.25 for a Fat tire?). I got the Pad Thai, my gf got the stir fry with tofu and curry and enjoyed it as well. Lots of food, will be eating the rest for lunch.

Pei Wei I think is much better than FBC. Two Pei Weis in Austin and one in Round Rock. One in Austin is Lamar/360, next to Fuddruckers / Trudy's and the aforementioned in Hancock.

Round Rock is on strip mall hell 35 north.

this isn't all-you-can-eat is it? there is a chain in dallas (a few other places too, but none down here in austin) called Genghis Grill that is absolutely incredible for that kind of food, and you can eat as many bowls as you want.

It's not all-you-can-eat, but it IS all-you-can-stuff-into-a-bowl. The price is good, and I can get two meals out of it. Thumbs up. I like the chicken and kung pao, aka what someone gets who doesn't know ****.

I worked next door to the one in Sunset Valley. It used to be called China Bowl Cafe. Changed to Fire Bowl Cafe in 2001. I haven't been back since. I don't remember it as being anything other than ordinary.
