For those of you who didn't see it in the Statesman yesterday. Luckily the Lick is still operating, just got some damage.

Heard on the radio today that the damage came in around $150K ... and it was arson. Now the big question .... who would do it?

Maybe someone that felt ripped off that their BBQ is not all it is said to be? Just kidding. Arsonists suck. I assume the main focus would be any potential disgruntled current or former employees. Even though their food and stuff is not all it is cracked up to be, but close, their atmosphere is awesome and would calm the most savage of beasts. This sucks and I hope they catch who it is...and then BBQ them. I hope that they get everything back to normal very soon.

I called down there, and they said they are still seating people in the banquet hall. We may have our banquet halls confused tho. I orginially the one down by the water fall and river as said banquet hall, however she told me it was the one next to the original part of the restaurant. She said it was contained to the kitchen area and didn't damage the seating area. Think those firefighters are going to be getting a few meals comped?
