Finish for Painted Plywood

Hello,

I have a piece of plywood that I painted with latex paint. It's for indoor use, but it's probably going to end up with liquid spilled on it from time to time (kids). I'm really ignorant when it comes to this stuff...
I'm looking for some sort of recommendation for a finish or something to coat the wood with to protect it from said spills. I guess some sort of outdoor weatherproofing finish, but I need to make sure it's completely clear so it doesn't change the look of the paint job. Preferably something I can get at home depot or lowe's in a small quantity and not too expensive

Uhhhhh, maybe a quart of polyurethane? I would just go to the paint dept at Lowe's and speak to someone and tell them what you want to do. They should be able to recommend something.

Polyurethane is what I ended up with... After going to Lowe's and talking to someone. Great advice

I laughed after I got back and rechecked this thread.
