To get technical, LSU vacated the wins - not forfeited. The difference is that vacated means the other team keeps the final score as-is (i.e. a win over LSU stays a win and a loss against LSU stays a loss). Forfeited means the other team gets to count the game as a win, regardless of the final score (i.e. LSU would change a win to a loss and the opponent would change the loss to a win. LSU wouldn't forfeit a loss so LSU retains the loss and the other team retains the win). The NCAA stopped doing forfeits after the fact a long time ago, as far as I can tell.
