Fender bender question

So I read-ended a car about a week ago. No visible damage on either car but it was a very jolting impact. I think my back took the brunt of it.

So I noticed yesterday that something looked strange underneath the car so I pop the hood and it looks like when I hit the car the piece that is between the bumper and the radidator did its job in absorbing most of the hit but it also damaged the coil (?). I've been driving it for about a week and havent had any overheating or radiator issues.

I wasnt going to file a claim because I didnt have anywhere near the damage to cover the deductible. Am I going to have future problems with this piece being bent but still funcitonal?

I can almost guarantee you there is more than $500 damage if you get a real estimate from a body shop. Is the A/C condensor what is bent? The radiator core support? The bumper brackets?

I'm not sure what part it is. It looks like an aluminum, coil-like sheet thats about 3 x 2 - the bracket that connects to the front bumper looks to be have bent in the front/bottom part.

I guess I"m going to contact State Farm and get it looked at to see what kind of $ we're talking about.
