My fence needs to be replaced and I would like to do it myself, but I am not a good handyman and I don't have the time to do it myself at the moment due to crunch time at work - the entire summer.

Does anyone have a good recommendation for a fence installation company in Austin? A while back, I asked for a reference for an electrician and had great luck.

I am looking for a standard 6-foot wood fence with quality pressure treated wood. Depending on the price difference, I might go with steel posts.

Definitly go with steel posts. You will be able to hang several different fences on them over the years. The difference in the material cost of steel posts and wood ones should not be very big.

A steel post is about 2 bucks more a piece than a standard 4x4 post. Definitely do it if you want to stay there over 10 years.
