My boys were up at 4:00 this morning but graciously let me sleep until 5:30

Was up 'til 3:30 building a dollhouse for my daughter. Was woken at 6:30 by a very excited little girl. I need a beer and some sleep.

I made a taco run at 6am - Alamo Tamales opens at 5, including Christmas -- God bless them for that. Was already a line, of course, but was zero traffic (lol) and Alamo is well-organized and they move it along. Add guac + salsa + pico = a Texas Christmas morning. The tamales this year (a tradition here) were actually from Rosie's, via my niece who is in grad school in Austin. Who could ask for more?
