Feldman

My how the Mighty have fallen. From Opening Day starter. Number 1 guy with brand new contract. Now: #5 and will have to hold off Harden and Holland coming off DL.

After tonight's game, I'd plug Mattie in at #5 and demote Feldman to the pen. I cannot stand watching him throw up gopher balls at any time, but esp. after R's have scratched out a lead. Good bye Scottie.

Hook'em!!!

Agree. He started out the season in the Penthouse and may end the season in the outhouse. I'd like to see Feldman go do journeyman duty in the pen or help OKC or Frisco out so he can't hurt us anymore.

Harrison looked a lot better than Feldman tonight. Make the rotation Harrison, Hunter, Lee, Lewis and Wilson, in alphabetical order. If Harden and Holland get their act together we might put Wilson back in the bullpen, where he can be pretty awesome. Of course, if Feldman's not starting, maybe the bullpen doesn't need more arms. I do worry a little that O'Day and Oliver might be overused. Maybe we can afford to unload a starting pitcher for promising soon to be major-league ready corner infielder?

I feel bad for Feldman, I really do. He had such a good year last year, and I had hoped he'd finally found his feet and was ready to emerge as an upper-division pitcher.

But sadly, it's time ...

... so send him back to the 'pen.

I have no problem with anyone in the starting lineup except Harden (duh! the boy just doesn't have it anymore) and Feldman. I DO NOT want Wilson sent back to the bullpen.

Texanne Surely as a woman of letters you could appreciate the alliteration of Harrison, Holland, Hunter, Lee and Lewis? Put Wilson in the rotation and the poetic qualities just fizzle.
