My personal opinions:

A summary_

I happened to tune in what turned out to be a lengthy 1/2 hour round table discussion on Greenbay by multiple sources who really knew the detail of Farve's years at Greenbay.

I caught it right after it started, and Farve had just been traded to New York for a day or two.

The discussion was Farve might do well at NY with new coaching, because Farve impeoved so much with new coaching at Greenbay.


Then I perked up because they talked about the big improvement in the Greenbay team and especially Farve when Mike Sherman was fired, and a new coach brought disicipline to the team.
and especially Frave.

Then they all agreeded the two big reasons that Sherman was fired, was because of his inability to instill discipline and to evaluate player personel.

They went on to talk about how Greenbay lost a number of games over the years just because Sherman had instilled no discipline!

They went on to discuss Rogers ( new QB) last four years at Greenbay and their future prospects.

The inability of Sherman to evaluate personel and to instill discipline is exactly what A&M does not need!

Can't recruit, can't coach, can't evaluate players, can't instill discipline, but Sherman is a good political hire by Byrne so it's ok? Not! (censored)
