I like to listen to the Music Choice stations on TW because of the wide variety of formats. And while I was listening this morning, I was wondering if I could pick JUST ONE favorite song frome each decade.
I was born in the 50s, so that's where I'll start naming one single favorite song from each decade of my life.
1950s: Come Go With Me, the Del-Vikings
1960s: Homeward Bound, Simon and Garfunkle
1970s: Touch Me, The Doors
1980s: Hold Me Now, The Thompson Twins
1990s: New Radicals: You Get What You Give
2000s: All These Things That I've Done, The Killers
I will say this -- it was much easier to pick favorites from my earlier decades. Perhaps it's because that music has stood the test of time.
