Favorite Mexican beer?

Been over 2 years since I've been to a Mexican beach but sure wish I was there.

So..... what is your favorite Mexican beer? Pacifico here.

i remember when i first started drinking, i would only drink rum or vodka + some mixer

however, i stayed in mexico for 4 weeks during that summer, went to happy hour at this bar in cuernavaca, across the plaza from carlos n charlies, where they had a bucket of 4 beers for the price of 1..... i learned to like beer pretty quickly

i realize that mac, and im usually the one posting that on the "why do people wear jerseys/jorts/bluetooth headsets?". its just such an odd freakin flavor. i am remorseful for offending you, bohemia beer.

speaking of mexican beer, i was at a dallas "tex-mex" restaurant a few weeks ago. turns out the only mexican beer they had was xx and corona. i will never eat there again.

"i will just have a pacifico? no, we dont carry that. sol? no. heineken? no. bud light? no." i went with a water.

If you like Czech pilsners, then Bohemia is a good approximation of one. And, because it spends less time in transit to the USA than do Pilsner Urquel or Budvar/Czechvar or any other Czech beers, it tastes more like those beers do in their home country of the Czech Republic.

Anyway, I like Negra Modelo for its maltiness, Bohemia for its Plzen-ness, and Pacifico Clara is one of the best beers in the world to drink on a 100+-degree Summer day in Texas.

My crew laughs @ beer available here in comparison to their 'home' brews... hell, they don't even like American Coca Cola.

For some reason (don't know why) the rare occasions I do drink a beer I like Dos Equis, Corona or Tecate & always with lime if it's available.

Domestically, I'll do a Lonestar.

Beyond that, I don't really have an acquired taste for beer (yeah, heresy... I know).

When I lived in Mexico in the early '60s students & middle/upper class men drank Bohemia, women drank Carta Blanca, the blue collars & campesinos drank the cheapest brands - XX, Corona, and the worst, Tecate.

I like Tecate. I like Pacifico more, but it's more expensive and not as refreshing. I like Negra Modelo the most.

Sol is good stuff. I can only drink Pacifico in very small doses, but I like it. I love XX Lager, but it gives me indigestion big time. Tecate in cans is great. The only Corona I will drink is in Mexico. The crap they have here in the states is terrible and should be confined to Oklahoma. I really like Estrella, but I can only find it in Jalisco. Anyone remember Chihuahua? Simpatico? Those were so bad it's not even remotely funny.
