I am so freakin excited for the start of football season it is rediculous. This is going to be an awsome season and I can't wait till kickoff on Saturday. The party poopers seem to be hinting at rain for the game but nothing can stop me from going ape in the stands on Saturday and parting all night after.

See you in DKR with a tear in my eye during the VY jersey retirement...

Oh ya. Wouldnt miss the VY ceremony ! Plus I hear there is a game there too. I'll be testing out the new seats. This will be my first game where I wont have Godzillatron breathing down my neck and get to see it without turning my neck after every play.
 
I still hate myself somewhat for taking a job that took me away from home (ATX). I haven't been to a game since 2004....this sucks.

If anyone else who lives in the Northeast ...... Is it on any satellite offerings? 2 of the bars around here say they will not be able to pick up the games with their dishes for some odd reason (positioning or something was the reason) They typically can get any game, but not this one apparently. Let me know....I might need to switch to Disc (comcast football package sucks balls).

Hook Em! I wish I was back at DKR.

I'm going and taking 3 friends with me. One is a UT grad student who just moved here from North Carolina. She wants to be an official Austinite and an official Texan and wanted to know what sort of places she should go, things she should do, etc. So I'm starting her off with Texas football.

My first game in Austin since the fall preceding graduation (2002). I have to fly in Saturday morning, but it's worth it. Where, o where to tailgate?
 
My body will be there. My mind might be left at Posse East, where I'll be abusing my liver hours before the game.
