An overtime game to one of the bottom dwellers in the league two days proir to playing the best team in the conference and possibly the best in the country.

Or you could just enjoy a hard fought come from behind win on the road in conference. I know it was shocking they didn't just lay down for us since we have Kansas in TWO DAYS!

Big XII road wins are tough and I think coming back from a double digit lead will give them some confidence. If DJ doesn't play like absolute dogshit, we win this game pretty easily. I liked the play of Gary Johnson, he's starting to play more consistently. Now if we can just get some consistent play out of Dex and Chapman, I will feel better about our chances come March

Dammit.

I left with about 7 minutes left in the game, assuming it was over. Looks like I must have missed a good one.

That near-loss was half on DJ, half on our inability to convert layups.

AJ, on the other hand, had a nice game </sarcasm on>, and actually did some things he has been accused of not being able to do. Maybe he reads hornfans. Or Coach Barnes does. Strange coincidence.</sarcasm off>

Playing "******" on the road in conference will happen. Just ask us and Oklahoma. We both played "******" at sCUm and paid for it.

You just hope your team is good enough to win when it plays "******" on the road in conference play, especially at a place like Hilton Coliseum.

It didn't have to be that close. When this team learns to play with intensity and focus from tip to gun, they won't have to come from 13 down every freaking game.

That having been said, two road wins in one week is big, no matter who you beat.

Hey, I'm definitely in the camp that is grateful to go 2-0 on the road this week. I was just commenting on the factors that caused today's game to be close (DJ's lack of a shot and our lousy play in the offensive paint) versus the biggest factor that led us to victory (AJ's all-around game, including passing and defense). But you know, AJ can't (or won't) do those things, so I guess I'm wrong.

When JD Lewis comes off the bench ahead of Smith, you should get the picture. And Balbay will miss at least the first 10 games next season, due to playing in European league.

AJ played very well today, good D and hustle, HE saved our bacon for the 4-5 time this year with his shooting. He keeps us in the games when everyone is cold or too tight to make a layup....AJ does not get the respect he deserves for his play this year !!

Just saw the Box score on AJ
25 pts.,3 assists, 5 rebounds, 2 steals, 8-14 shooting,
2-2 free throws, NO turn overs. ... DAMN !!!! Thats very good.

I actually thought we were going to lose the game, I even said to all watching it with me.
down by 8 or so with under 5mins. we played like crap but still managed to rally in the final 4 mins to tie and go into OT for the win which was damn exciting but we should have won this game easliy. that was an UGLY game but not as ugly as OU losing to CU ..lol

Well, let me tell you. I'm a big fan of 13-3 myself, because that would mean a high #2 seed.

I don't see how they get there, but I don't care about style points. If they can get there with the games they have remaining on the schedule, they'll have earned a #2 seed in my opinion.
