The one with the soccer magazine under the bed and mom telling the kid that it was ok to experiment had me cracking up for some reason...is Dr. Pepper's new ad campaign.
Revolves around a town supporting their team and hating" State"
Brian Bosworth is the Sheriff, Eddie George is the Dr. Les Miles is the storeclerk.
I have seen 3 today and they are funny.
It apparently will build until the playoffs.
here was a time in my past when I had a RED HOT HATE for that jackass
Mellowed some yes but prolly more him being out of the limelight and not newsworthy to anyone anymore. However, I would still not want to be around him for any reason...You have obviously mellowed in your old age. I have not. It is interesting to me that Scott Hill still can't understand why I don't like Bosworth and don't want to be around him.
I think "Snuffy" Smith & Barry got Bosworth that gig.
Scott Hill, as in former OU QB Scott Hill? You have obviously mellowed in your old age. I have not. It is interesting to me that Scott Hill still can't understand why I don't like Bosworth and don't want to be around him.

I have history with Brian Bosworth. Suffice it to say, I hope he burns in hell.is Dr. Pepper's new ad campaign.

While Scott was a QB at LD Bell, to my knowledge he never played QB at Oklahoma. He was, however, a great safety with lots of football smarts, unlike Roy Williams. Scott also was a recruiting guru, who I give credit for a lot of Barry's recruiting success. Ironically, it was DKR's major screw up in recruiting Scott that shaped Scott's philosophy and recruiting technique and which made him a successful recruiter

Regarding Scott Hill:
We in the marching band at Euless Trinity wrote our own words to the LD Bell fight song. The second line is, “Hill is a son of a *****”.
Let me know if you’d like to know the rest.
And BTW, (What’s that smell?) LD Bell stole their fight song from the Baltimore Colts.
Texanne, this isn't the "Biscuit" story is it?Yes Texanne, inquiring HF minds want to know, the REST of the story....

He was and always will be a POS. I lived through the Boz years. What a turd. Funny how many posters seem to think, as time has passed, that he's a really okay kind of guy. BS.I don’t know anything about a “biscuit“. In 1980, I was a cub reporter covering the MacArthur Cardinals for the Irving Daily News. MacArthur’s defensive ends consisted of a senior who had never started a varsity game and Bosworth, who was a freshman. So in my season preview story, I wrote, rightfully so, that MacArthur was inexperienced at defensive end.
Well, apparently this pissed Bosworth off. He put the word out in town that he was going to “get me”. I was told by a MacArthur family whom I liked and trusted that I needed to watch my back because Bosworth was serious.
I don’t wish him dead, but if I learned that he had gone to the “great beyond”, I wouldn’t feel bad about it.He was and always will be a POS. I lived through the Boz years. What a turd. Funny how many posters seem to think, as time has passed, that he's a really okay kind of guy. BS.
Would be better with audio or even better with video.OK, but don't blame me. You asked for it. Be sure you sing it to the tune of the Baltimore Colts Marching Song:
Bell sucks green donkey dicks,
Hill is a son of a *****,
Bell sucks green donkey dicks,
We’d like to **** their drill team, too!
****! ****! ****!
When we take them out to lunch
They like to munch and hunch
Those big, long, green donkey dicks—
Fuckin’ suckin’ sweet Bell High!
Yes, very fitting that a POS would embrace his POS behavior and demeanor causing some frat guys to say to him to eat them. The latest Fansville commercial with the woman giving birth to a Tech fan is the best one so far IMO.
My only interaction with Bosworth came in the 80s when he was with OU. My frat used to make t-shirts for each UT-OU game, and in '86 (I think) ours said "Eat Me, Boz!" on the back. Bosworth saw mine and called me over (this was during the game, mind you) and told me he loved it and wanted to buy it from me. I turned him down as I had no other shirt to wear, but I thought it was cool that he embraced his image that way and was just fine with the shirts.
