Joe Horn would be the only decent name out there and given his age and inability to stay healthy for long periods of time, I really don't see them signing a F/A WR at this point in time.
Hopefully after this offseason they will pull their heads out of their asses and make a run at good Roy and run the contract up so high that Detroit will have no choice but to not match. Giving up two #1's for Anquan Boldin seems like a pretty good deal right now considering how they have spent their past few 1st Rounders with the exception of Griff.
Chris Johnson is going to be a badass for the Titans...it's starting to appear to be a really good pick.
DeSean Jackson is the only receiver who was in the top tier of rookie receivers who looks like he's going to contribute largely this year.
Limas wasn't on the active squad for the Steelers and Tomlin says he has a ways to go before he puts him on the active roster, and Devin Thomas had 1 catch I believe for the Redskins in their first game.
It's a process building a team, and the Titans are doing it from the center of the line, out. Hopefully the receivers the (hopefully) sign will be the last piece of the puzzle. If they go out signing a bunch of receivers, they'd be like the Detroit Lions.
The Titans haven't grabbed a good WR in the past couple of years despite big time opportunities. What makes you think they will suddenly change that and get a good WR? They are 3 years late on this.
I agree there weren't many choices for WR from the draft this year. I was just wondering who's available since the Titans are trying out a few. Apparently Joe Horn will get a work out.
T.O. is going to be old then. While it would be better then Eric Moulds last year, or the consideration of Joe Horn this year...he will be old then and probably not interested in playing for the Titans. They need to sign a receiver coming off his rookie contract from another team and draft a bad-*** (although it seems evaluating receivers is the most inconsistent position in the draft from how they end up panning out).
