I have the volume turned up as I watch the practices. Awesome. The sounds of the engines being pushed then having to brake and negotiate turns in both directions.
Lewis Hamilton all the way in this one. Crashes, mechanical failures the order of the day. F1 cars appear much more diabolical to navigate around a track without traction controls, new rule this year. Should really be interesting in a rainy event.
My observations:
Fred really looked to be fighting the Renault today.
Ross Brawn is going to have someones *** for the incident with Barachello's pit stop. They were lucky no one was seriously hurt
It's nice to see BMW and Williams running up front. It would be nice if a 3rd team could join the front runners this year.
I can't decide which car is uglier, Honda's factory cars, or Force India's.
I thought Bourdais handled himself very well today, though the STR cars don't appear to be any more reliable this year than last.
Last year, Kimi won this race on his way to the WC, will Lewis do the same this year?
