My mother passed away last week at the age of 67 due to AML after 9 short months.
She was never in the hospital other than 2 live births with no meds.
great woman and an even better mother. I will mis her deeply.
Unreal disease.

so sorry, compadre. respects and love to you and your family in this really sad time. your Mom has a hell of a good man for a son and I am sure she knew this.

HatDaddy, I've been where you are. Pancreatic cancer took my mother 27 years ago. She was only 64. My dad died of a broken heart just seven weeks later.

Know that your mother will continue to live on through you. She raised you well, and every right decision you make is a way to honor her.

Take comfort in the knowledge that you will see her again by and by.

Psalm 9:10 has always helped me find strength when I thought I had none.

HatDaddy my most sincere condolences to you and your family.

I understand what you're going through. Today is the 15th anniversary of my brother, sister and me taking mom to the hospital to be diagnosed with colon, bone, and liver cancer. She never saw her home again. Today would be her 77th birthday.

The pain is somewhat relieved over time, but the loss remains. Remember all the good times, for there were many.
