I got bent over by EZ's on Lamar today. I was the second of our 5 man group to order. My order was a poblano chicken sandwich. A full ten minutes after the last person other than myself recieved their order, I was finally called to the counter. After cutting the sandwich in half and taking a bite, I noticed the chicken was not fully cooked. I polled our group on whether or not it was done and recieved confirmation that should I continue to eat that thing, chances were likely that I would spend the rest of the afternoon in an undesirable position.
Upon trying to notify the manager, I learned that he was already dealing with another matter regarding under-cooked food. After finally sharing my tale with the manager, he looked at me and said without apology, "Whada ya want?" I was a little taken aback and said, " I definitely, don't want this." So he gave me a refund and walked off.
My question is....Is this proper restaraunt management? I would have thought that he would offer an incentive to at least try to get me back in to the place at a later date with a free meal later, a comped milkshake, or something. I surely wasn't going to accept a comped spit burger from the chef today.
Any opinions?
