EZs coming to South Austin?

i took the southwest parkway exit off of ben white yesterday and on the feeder road before the stoplights, i saw a sign that said "EZs Diner coming" or something like that. has anyone seen that?

any idea on timeline? i passed by it too fast for it to register to me to read more.

The sign's been there for some while but I've never noticed a time line.

I noticed it a few weeks ago. My gut feeling is that it's going to be some other restaurant with a similar name, since the other locations in Austin are "EZ's Brick Oven and Grill", but I hope I'm wrong.

good point. i hope it is the real deal. how long in months has the sign been up? their website doesn't say anything about a new location in austin. i didn't even realize there was one off beecaves.

That's not on my regular drive, but I think it's gone up in the last three months. I wrote down the number of the construction company today and I plan on calling them tomorrow to see if it's the franchise we know and love.

Not sure....they are building a Whataburger and TC at the NE corner of Mopac and William Cannon. That will be nice...

I don't think it's EZ's like on Lamar and on Bee Caves. It's probably going to be a crappy hotel restaurant since it's going to be right next to a Holiday Inn.

Good guess. I contacted the construction company and it's not affiliated with the other EZ's around town.

had lunch at the EZs off bee caves yesterday. i love their bean burger. that said, they have solid salads and chili.
