eye doctor?

anyone know a good eye doctor somewhere around the n. lamar/38th area?

I go to Dr. Schaper on Anderson Lane over by Alamo Drafthouse. One time I got a really bad eye infection because I had scratched my eye. He let me keep coming back each day for treatment until it got better, but didn't charge me for all of the visits. Even told me to call him at his home on Sunday if my eye wasn't markedly better. One of the few times a doctor has gone above and beyond to take care of me without charging the **** out of me, which was cool because I don't have insurance!

I used to go to a doctor that was located in the Jefferson Building (across from TCBY). He was a nice guy and I liked the fact that they had a pretty nice selection of frames there too. I am sorry but I can't remember his name

. Just go in the bldg at look at the directory. My insurance changed and now I go to Dr. Bristol at Eclectic Eyewear on the drag. They have an awesome selection of frames!

I like Dr. Jim McNabb at the Texan Eye Center at about 40th and Medical Parkway. Dam nice guy. He did my Lasix surgery.

Dr. Bob Joe (real name...) is great, been on Shoal Creek blvd just North of Northcross mall for years. Very good doc, lots of my friends have used him for 20+ years - he's very careful, polite, and competent.
