Extreme Beers

I went through an IPA stage a while back and it wore me out. Now, I want something that doesn't taste like there's a bunch of hops floating on the surface.

Some of those are a bit much, and spendy. Balance is a good thing.
I think the Sierra Nevada Harvest is about as extreme as I want to take my quest for hoppiness.

I'm a huge fan of balance. I can't drink any American IPAs, they're all far too hoppy. In fact, pretty much any beer from breweries in the PAC-NW are way too hoppy for me.

Balance. It's a good thing.

I'm glad I'm not the only one that thinks overly-hoppy beers really aren't that good. It takes a special kind of mood for me to start downing strong IPAs. Namely, I have to be drunk already.

There's a great microbrew in Nashville, called Yazoo. I think they have a great IPA, IMO. I don't know if they export their beer or not?
