I tried them. After a couple of months of discomfort and 2 eye infections, I went back to contacts that I take out every night. My new optholmologist put me back on the daily wear contacts (take them out at night) and I have had no further problems. He indicates that he has seen very few people that were able to effectively use extended wear contacts without having issues from sleeping in them.
I've been sleeping in contacts since I was 16 and I've never had any trouble. I have the new Acuvue (sp?) ones now for extended wear, and I've been using the same pair for over as year and still don't have any deterioration of the lense or build up on them.
I got Night & Day. They say you can wear them for 30 days. I tried to wear them for a week and it sucked. My vision got blurry at night. Now I just use them like regular daily wears.
