Expresso Lube near campus

The one right across from Mangia's and Nasty's? Haven't been there yet, but I believe it's owned by the same folks that own Express Automotive, aka the Groovy Mechanics, on Red River. They're the most reliable and honest mechanics in town, so I reckon their oil changing skills should be good.
 
man, I wish there was a place around campus when I was there that I could get a quick lube job, nothing like a quickie between classes.
 
they didn't have the SRD when you were in school? Damn you're old.

I always thought that gourmet coffee and oil changes were the perfect combination. Why no one else has thoguht of it, I will never know.
 
Groovy Lube is owned by the Groovy guys at Hancock Center. It is across from Flamingo Repair Shop. Expresso is a different place. Never been there but Groovy is quite excellent. The same quality as their mechanic work (as mentioned above). Just wanted to let you know they are two diff. places. Go Groovy.

Go by the Auto Repair place on Red River and I think 45th. They usually have coupons on the front desk for oil changes and even sometimes transimission flushes. You can get one and save some more cash.
 
I tried Expresso Lube a couple years back. They gave me an oil filter that was apparently the wrong size for my vehicle. A few minutes afterwards I'm sitting at a light and I hear and feel the oil draining from the car. I drive back to the store and they compensate by giving me synthetic oil. I should have raised absolute hell, but oh well. Needless to say, I will never go there again. Definitely go Groovy.
 
I had a bad experience with them awhile back. Just wondering if it was an isolated incident or not. Was considering using Groovy, but heard they were the same owners. Thanks for clearing that up.
