explorer window f'ed upl

all of the sudden, my window for ie, when maximized only goes 4/5 up the screen. my desktop shows in the gap at the top.

this does not happen when i open up word or something. some weird popup or something must have ****** up my browser.

please hep. ive already done the turn it off, turn it on again thing.

do you have some sorta toolbar that has gotten itself on IE ?
