Explorer help needed

I need some help with the AutoComplete feature of IE.

Some background...
I've been looking around for teaching jobs lately, and I've used google to reach various websites for area school districts. I've also used it for other aspects of the job hunt. So now the list of search terms that pops up whenever you type something into google includes some stuff I'd rather not have publicized around the office. I don't want to just turn autocomplete off, because others know how to turn it back on again, and I'm back to square one.

I have clicked on the "Clear forms" and "Clear passwords" buttons, but the list in Google was not affected at all. So my question is, where is this info maintained in memory on the system, and how do I dump it?

If you're talking about the Google web page, you should be able to scroll down the list and remove each individually by hitting the delete key. Either double click or press the down arrow key in the search bar to open the actual list. If you're referring to the Google toolbar, there is a "clear search history" option by clicking the main Google button.
