Ewers Out 4 - 6 Weeks

Texas quarterback Quinn Ewers is expected to be out four to six weeks after injuring his shoulder Saturday against No. 1 Alabama, sources told ESPN's Pete Thamel.

As for our chances of winning games...Card is going to have to show he can lead the team in scoring at a higher clip than what we have seen to this point going back to last season.

Well, the original scope was 1-8 weeks...so you can see he is already on the fairly severe spectrum.
Even if he is "back" by RRR....would he really be ready?

I had a similar injury a long time ago trying to do an unorthodox high jump move. I was fine in 2-3 weeks. Although I probably had a level 1 sprain. Quinn could have up to a level 3 and not require surgery. Let's just really hope it's only 3 weeks.

Looks like he did it during the game before the extent of the injury was known. Definitely didn't come off well, but I think he was at least trying to be encouraging.
