This is my plea to everyone going to the game Saturday night (myself included). As you all know, this is a HUGE game for our Horns and a win would solidify us as a legit Top 10 team. Our guys need the crowd support in a big way, so let's all do our part and make it a raucous atmosphere to truly give our team a great home field advantage. It's also very important this week especially because we'll have some recruits visiting and we need to show them that THIS is the place to be!

This can be our signature win en route to a spectacular season that will show the college football world that we're back! As another poster mentioned on the main board and I agree - this game reminds me of 1990 vs. Klingler and UH. We need an energized crowd like that so everyone bring all the mojo you've got and cheer your lungs out for our Horns!!!

This will be my first game to attend in person this season and may be my only one. I'm a new dad (my baby girl is 8 months old, born in February) and it's hard to get away these days (living in Frisco now). As a single Horn Fan from when I was in school from '98 - '02 and shortly thereafter, I once saw 81 straight games (home, away, TX-OU, and bowl games from '97-'03 seasons). Now I mostly watch from my couch and yell at the TV, freaking out my wife, dog, and baby! This will be the 100th home game I've seen over the years, from my first game as an eight year-old in awe of Eric Metcalf running over Rice in a 1987 game that my parents took me to from my hometown of San Antonio (Mom, a '70 grad & Dad, a '77 grad - both of whom will be there Saturday too)... to last year's opening win vs. Rice coincidentally, which was the only game I made last season.

I'm so jacked for this game and very fortunate to get to be there in the great seats that an awesome friend has. I had my own West Side upper deck season tickets from '05-'10, but had to give them up for budgetary reasons... I've been there in spirit every game. I hope to be able to get another pair of season tickets again one day, especially to take my kids to...

Anyway I wanted to share with you all... Let's make my 100th game to witness the Horns at home a memorable one! Let's all do our part and everyone give it all you've got!!! BE LOUD & let's will the Horns to a resounding VICTORY!!!

Congrats on the kid. If you're bringing a screaming baby to the game, don't feed it, change it or burp it during the game. That will only serve to quiet it down. We need all the noise we can get.

I won't be taking the baby to the game. She will be with my wife watching the game at a cousin's house in Avery Ranch. I'll wait and take her to her first game when she's old enough to appreciate it (like I was when I was 8 for my first game)... maybe 2019 or 2020 season (somewhere in there we play Notre Dame and USC & that would be awesome, especially if we're back on track as a perrenial top 5 team again).

Let's get the machine started again on Saturday night!
